The PRECISION LaserCOMPACT detector is specifically designed to be compatible with the PROACTIV Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP) system. It also provides all the very early warning benefits of aspirated smoke detection. Advanced features include clean-air barrier to protect all detection chamber optics and an enhanced aspirator design incorporated into a smaller enclosure with a simplified display.

 

Description

 

The PRECISION LaserCOMPACT detector is made up of two parts; the front

cover and the main enclosure.

• The front cover supports 5 LEDs: Fire, Flow, Fault, OK and Filter.
• The main enclosure houses all the key components of the detectors.

The main enclosure includes:

• Laser detection chamber
• Main processor board
• Single-port entry with air flow sensor
• Termination Card, which includes power connections and PC connector for diagnostic purposes
• LaserCOMPACT aspirator
• Filter cartridge
• Air exhaust port.

All non-serviceable items, such as the main processor board and laser detector chamber, are mounted away from the general access area, protecting them during installation and routine service.
